    Catch the Falcons

    The Falcons will be hitting the diamond in Elk’s Stadium twice this weekend as they take on the Portland Pickles.

    Our boys are set to play at 6:35 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, so get your tickets!

    Big White Slopestyle Invitational 

    The first event of its kind at Big White, the 25 top-ranked FMB riders from North America and Europe, along with five wildcard entries, are invited to compete on Big White's new slopestyle course.

    In addition to adrenaline pumping sport, spectators can enjoy live music, beverage gardens and demonstrations. Qualifying rounds kick off on Friday at 3 p.m., the course is best viewed from Happy Valley. 

    Vibrant Vine Grand Opening Party

    Now that renovations are complete, the crew at the Vine are ready to celebrate.

    This Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. they will be hosting their grand re-opening party, which will feature free tastings, live music, great giveaways – and you! Grab your fellow vino lovers and sip your Saturday away!

    Gelato on Bernard

    Now that the weather is taking a turn for the better, ways to keep cool are on the brain. After you’ve spent the day floating on the lake, take a quick walk down Bernard to try our city's newest gelato hub.

    Amore Mio tucked away at 270 Bernard Avenue, is like a little piece of Italian heaven in Kelowna. With delicious gelato, pizza and cappuccino's, this little cafe is a must on your weekend bucket list!

    Professional Bull Riding

    For all you cowboys at heart, bull riding is making its way back to Prospera Place in the form of the Okanagan PBR challenge.

    The world's best riders will test their luck against some of the nations rowdiest bulls in the most exciting eight seconds in sports for an opportunity to take home the title and compete in the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast.

    Tickets are available online and the craziness goes down on Saturday night at 7 p.m. 

    Bosley’s Adoption Event

    If you’re looking for a furry friend and want to welcome a new member of the family to their furever home, check out the Bosleys Kelowna Adoption event this Sunday.

    From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. a group of adorable cats and kittens will be up for adoption and ready to start their new life of lounging on your sofa and purring in your ear. If you’ve been thinking of taking the leap and becoming a pet owner, this weekend is as good a time as any!
