Victoria Police in search of truck involved in hit and run

The Victoria Police are currently in search for a dump truck that was involved in a hit and run yesterday morning.

Officers attended the 3100-block of Douglas Street yesterday morning to attend to a collision between a dump truck and a pedestrian.

The collision took place between 7:15 a.m. and 7:19 a.m.

According to police, the truck was making a right turn from Finlayson Avenue onto Douglas Street.

The truck then collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The truck is described as a blue, single-axle dump truck.
