This is some breaking news!

  • Vice & Virtue’s latest creation is the perfect summer beer

There’s a new beer at Vice & Virtue and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The brewery’s brand new sour is now available in time for the long weekend and those hot summer days that are ahead.

It’s called ‘The Saving Grace’ and it’s a passionfruit kiwi gose, which is the perfect type of beer for this time of year.

“A clean, lean tart, easy-drinking machine! This beer takes a traditional goslar gose and gets tropical,” says the brewery in a Facebook post about its latest creation.

“A base beer of oats, wheat and Pilsner malt is soured with our house lacto blend, fermented and then racked onto an excessive amount of passionfruit and a dash of kiwi to naturally carbonate this easy-drinking brew.”

The new beer is 5.1% ABV (alcohol by volume) and just three IBU (International Bitterness Unit).

It’s also another fantastic label from Vice & Virtue courtesy of Kelowna-based artist Kelly Spencer.

You’ll likely be able to find these bad boys in liquor stores soon enough, but for now you’ll have to stop by the brewery on Richter Street if you want to pick some up and be one of the first to try ‘The Saving Grace’ out.
