A public keynote address from the World Wildlife Fund-Canada (WWF-Canada) will be presented in Prince George on Thursday.
The speech will be given by Megan Leslie, WWF-Canada's president and chief executive officer.

The title of Leslie’s keynote is Cumulative Impacts to Wildlife and Habitat Conservation in an Era of Environmental Change.
The event will take place at the opening of the 2018 Cumulative Impacts Research Consortium Forum at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC).
Leslie will address wildlife loss in Canada and emerging direction in wildlife and habitat conservation.
Leslie will draw on her diverse experience to provide insight on the relationship between conservation and cumulative impacts management.
The keynote will take place at 7 p.m. at the Canfor Theatre and is free for anyone who wishes to attend.
