NHL Central Scouting released its preliminary players to watch list for the 2022 NHL entry draft on Tuesday and it features a trio of Kamloops Blazers.

Fraser Minten, Mats Lindgren and Matthew Seminoff are all on NHL scouts’ radar to start the 2021-22 hockey season, around eight months before the draft.
 

Minten was rated as a B prospect, which means he’s considered a potential second- or third-round pick next summer.

The forward led the team in rookie scoring last year, posting four goals and 14 assists in just 20 games.

Like Minten, Lindgren is also in his second season with Kamloops and was rated as a B prospect by NHL Central Scouting.

The North Vancouver native scored a goal and added nine helpers in 22 games last year.

Seminoff is rated a C prospect, which means he’s considered a potential fourth-, fifth- or sixth-round pick.

He’s into his third campaign with the Blazers and has already posted six points in six games this season while wearing an A on his chest for the team.

All three players will be in action this weekend as the Blazers host the Vancouver Giants on Friday night at Sandman Centre.
