Eating Timbits for breakfast may be frowned upon, but Timbits cereal is a whole different story.

Tim Hortons and Post Foods Canada have teamed up to make Timbits cereal a reality and it’s hitting grocery store shelves nationwide.

It comes in both chocolate glazed and birthday cake flavours, so you have options as well.

"We all know how hard it is to resist Timbits, so we are very excited to be able to bring the fun of enjoying Timbits to cereal bowls across the country," said David Bagozzi, Post Foods Canada’s VP of Marketing.

"I know from my own experience how beloved Timbits are – based entirely on how quickly they disappear whenever someone brings a box into the office!”

He’s not wrong there.

Samuel Heath, Tim Hortons’ head of retail, added that “the two-bite Timbits Canadians have loved since 1976 can now be enjoyed as an even more bite sized treat with milk in cereal bowls coast to coast."

While the “crispy and crunchy” breakfast treat won’t be in every major grocery store yet, consumers have reported that it’s already available at Costco.
