Solve a murder

There are two wicked murder mystery events taking place this weekend!

Murder at the Grand Gatsby Speakeasy and Once Upon a Murder Mystery Family Event are both taking place on Saturday.

All you have to do to take part is register! Once you are registered you will receive an email with a synopsis of the setting, your character and a costume suggestion.   

Tickets for the Gatsby murder are $25 and tickets for the family-friendly murder event are $20 per adult and $15 per child. Email tickets@nechakotheatrics.org to reserve your spot! Happy solving.

Blackspruce Farm Tours opens

On Saturday, the pumpkin patch at Blackspruce Farm opens! You can tour around from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving. Entry to the farm is $6 and children 12 and under get a free pumpkin.

The Thank You Canada Tour

On Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. some seriously talented figure skaters will be hitting up the CN Centre.

As a “thank you” to their home country, Canadian greats will be embarking on The Thank You Tour. Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Patrick Chan, and Kaetlyn Osmond are just a few names that will be making an appearance.

CFURadio’s Totally Awesome 80’s Cabaret

This Friday, you can treat yourself to dinner, dancing, costumes and super fun door prizes for only $25.

UNBC’s Thirsty Moose Pub will be turned into a nostalgic place to dance your worries away.

Proceeds from the event will go to CFUR’s fundraising goals.

On Saturday, the Theatre NorthWest will be transformed into a kiddy shopping extravaganza from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
