It certainly wasn’t the hottest of Canada Day weekends, but Mother Nature has plans to make up for it this week.
The weather will start to improve today, leading to more standard seasonal highs on Wednesday and a potentially 30+ degree day on Thursday.
“We will finally start to see our weather pattern stabilize,” explains Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.
“Today is transition day with sun and cloud, but a chance of showers isn’t out of the question especially in the afternoon.”
“On Wednesday when the upper low exits our region, we will see daytime highs return to near seasonal in the mid 20s.”

You can probably bust the sunscreen back out, as the UV index will get up to moderate today, as will the pollen index if you want to take an allergy pill on the way out the door.
Enjoy the start to your shortened week, Kelowna!
