The CJFL season is two months away and the Okanagan Sun has begun the search for billet families.

Billet families will need to take in players starting July 4 and have them through the end of October.

“Billeting has been an important part of the success of the Okanagan Sun,” said a release from the team.

“Young adults age 17-22 from across the country may be experiencing their first time away from home and Kelowna is ready to welcome them.”

In exchange for offering up their home, billet families will receive monetary compensation and season tickets to catch every Sun home game in 2019.

You’ll also get the reward of watching a player develop and getting to know the other players and fans.
