With Rock the Lake only three days away, there has been a change to the lineup.

Due to medical reasons, Doug and the Slugs won’t be able to perform over the weekend.

Their replacement will be The Headpins, a side project from former Chilliwack members Brian MacLeod and Ab Bryant.
 

Doug and the Slugs were set to play from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

It’s likely that The Headpins will slide into that time slot as the replacement band, but the schedule hasn’t been updated yet.

Rock the Lake gets going on Friday night and features three days of classic rock.

Toronto leads things off on Friday at 6 p.m. with Platinum Blonde and April Wine also taking the stage that night.

Sass Jordan, Rik Emmett and Kim Mitchell will play on Saturday while Carole Pope, Helix, Chilliwack and Honeymoon Suite will close out the festivities on Sunday.
