It’s supposed to be a cold and snowy winter in B.C., but not this week.

In fact, Kelowna will have highs above freezing for the rest of November, before a cold snap hits the Okanagan at the start of December.

Until then, it’ll be a mild few days in Kelowna with temperatures even expected to hit double digits on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s high of 10°C will be followed up by a high of 9°C on Thursday, and that’s just according to Environment Canada.

The Weather Network is even more optimistic with a high of 11°C forecasted for Thursday, but we have no clue why their forecast is always different than Environment Canada’s.

The Weather Network just unveiled their long-term winter forecast, which calls for below average temperatures and more than normal levels of precipitation.
