It’s been a bit of a…bleh stretch of weather (are we allowed to say that?), but the summer warmth is on its way back into town today.
The high has jumped up towards 30°C and the clouds are supposed to stay away, at least until later in the afternoon.

“Enjoy sunny, warm and dry conditions today under an upper ridge of high pressure that is building over the southern half of B.C.,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.
“Daytime highs will be above seasonal in the mid to upper 20’s. More cloud is possible by Thursday afternoon when we switch to a southwesterly flow.”
At 6:50 a.m., it’s 5°C with a UV index of just 1 in Kelowna, but that will quickly change as the UV index is expected to rise all the way to 7 today, which is considered high.
The pollen index is only moderate, but it’s never a bad idea to take some allergy medicine on your way out the door at this time of year.
Have a fantastic hump day Kelowna, the weekend will be here before you know it!
