I am basically just a guy with a camera. I recently married my high school sweetheart at the movie theatre where we had our first date.
Why do you use Instagram?
Growing up, I always loved looking at photos and films from different places and with Instagram you get to see what day to life looks like in other places from the perspective of a diverse group of people…it is like a giant real-time National Geographic Magazine also it fascinates me to see what people are willing to share of their lives to be liked, disliked and commented on.
What will people see on your feed?
I love street photography and photos of graffiti and graffiti tags also you will see photos of cars, buildings, payphones and phone booths, my cat pretty much anything that catches my eye I even post from my vintage photo collection and just started an Instagram feed for them @found.photos.
Does your page have a specific style?
It is hard to say what style it is… I take photos to help me with my ADD so I am always taking photos of different things.
Favorite Instagram accounts to follow?
@theburgerdiva. Who doesn’t love and great burger photo.
@vicfoodguys great suggestions for local food places.
@WWE Been a wrestling fan my whole life.
@shunya.koide he takes really nice black and white photos.
@japantravelplanet I could look at photos from Japan all day.
How do you decide on your location for shoots?
I use the hashtag #walkingaroundphotography because most of the time I will to go for walks in different parts of the city at different times of the day and take photos. I am always on the lookout for new graffiti and graffiti tags, the Wildfire bakery is a great place to shoot as the art is always changing. You can go anywhere in the city and local areas and always find things and moments to take photos of.
