This is some breaking news!

    VictoriaNow is excited to feature some of our favorite Instagram profiles from the area. These profiles are chosen based on their content, style and interaction with the community. If you would like to be featured be sure to tag #victorianow and send an email to news@victorianow.com!

    Why do you use Instagram?

    It is a fun, easy to use platform for sharing your photos. It is also very much public which makes it easy to share your work beyond the people you know through hashtags and location-based searches. My satisfaction with the app has however dropped considerably since their full-blown ad attack!

    What will people see on your feed?

    Pictures I take driving around B.C. and Alberta. Mostly landscapes. But what I really want to do more is street photography, which to me is a form of photography that requires a great deal of courage.

    Does your page have a specific style?

    The sun, light reflections and the sky usually take up a large portion of my photos. I also try to have a human element in there where ever possible.

    Favorite Instagram accounts to follow?

    @donalboyd

    @hamid_janipour

    @mustafaseven

    @npekonen

    How do you decide on your location for shoots?

    I almost never plan it.

    Biggest Instagram moment?

    It feels great each time one of my photos gets featured. I remember the first time my photo of West Lake at night in winter was featured by tourism PG. Really enjoyed that.

    Favorite hashtags?

    No favorite ones really.
