I am 21 years old studying at the University of Victoria, from North Vancouver. Ever since I moved away from home when I was 17 years old I took interest in making delicious home cooked meals and learning what quality food tasted like. I love eating out and Victoria is an amazing location for that with many foodies and delicious restaurants.

Why do you use Instagram?

I love Instagram because it provides an outlet to share passions with the world, I personally love posting pictures of my food to give recognition to delicious restaurants who deserve it as well as offering tasty recipes to be made at home.

What will people see on your feed?

When you check out my Instagram feed you will see my “Kravings”, my favourite food which includes eating out as well as what I make at home for myself.

Does your page have a specific style?

My feed is a combination of restaurant foods and home cooked meals by me (or my parent’s lol) as well as some other pictures sent in by my friends. The theme of my account is my "Kravings", as I mentioned before; anything I love to eat and want to eat or drink!

Favorite Instagram accounts to follow?

Same accounts do more specific themes such as just restaurants or just food they make at home, but I combine both. The big accounts I follow include tastingvictoria and foodcouver because when I am in both cities I like to look at their accounts and decide where to go to eat. I also follow a lot of smaller accounts from around the world that are similar to mine, us smaller accounts try and support each other. It is really cool following food accounts from around the world because then you know where to eat if you end up visiting.

How do you decide on your location for shoots?

My shootings for food are actually abrupt. I usually take a picture right after I plate my food or get it served to my table. I should probably invest in a foodie light to up the quality of my pictures.

Biggest Instagram moment?

My biggest Instagram moment is probably being asked by Victoriabcnow to do an article on me, I have wanted to get noticed for awhile but it just hasn’t come up yet until now.

Favorite hashtags?

My favourite hashtags obviously are #konkskravings and #kravings but I enjoy #feedthehippo. Those three are always used for my photos but they change depending on the picture, I like to throw humor in.
