My name is Kenzie Williamson, I am 19 and have lived in Prince George for almost my whole life. I am a super optimistic person with a great sense of humour. I have a huge passion for both photography and fishing and love to learn new things about both. I am self-taught when it comes to my photography, so I make it look like I know what I am doing when sometimes I really have no idea.

Why do you use Instagram?
I use Instagram because I like the simplicity of it. The entire app is easy to use and hashtags make it easy to broadcast to an audience. It seems to be the most common way to share your images and gain feedback. I also use it follow photographers that inspire me and such.
What will people see on your feed?
Normally you will see nature images. Lots of landscapes. Sometimes I'll throw in some wildlife just to spice things up and keep it interesting.
Do you have a specific style?
I try to keep my images sharp, clear and hope for some texture. I don't always have a focal point, especially with nature shots, because I want my pictures to look as if someone was seeing it for themselves with their own eyes.
Favorite Instagram accounts to follow?
How do you decide on the locations for your shoots?
Normally its impulse and I think "Hey! Im going to go here today" or it's a targeted spot. I use my Backroads Mapbook and drive back roads quite a bit and normally I find something cool and photo-worthy.
Biggest Instagram moment?
Getting asked to be featured by PrinceGeorgeNow has got to be the best one so far.
Favorite hashtags?
I don't use many! I normally will hashtag where I took the photo (city, area, etc) and other similar hashtags. I will tag a tourism account if one is available, but I also forget to take advantage of these features a lot.
Why do you follow PrinceGeorgeNow?
PrinceGeorgeNow is an awesome way to explore and connect Prince George. I think featuring people, their photos and whatever else is an extremely positive way to make an impact on not only a person but a city.
