What a week it has been and it’s only going to get better.

The warm, sunny weather is set to continue in Kelowna today with a high in the low to mid 20s.

We continue to work towards a high near 30°C for the weekend and the Great Okanagan Beer Festival on Saturday.
 

“Summer-like conditions continue over the next few days when an upper ridge brings in warm air from the south and keeps weather systems away,” said Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“Expect sunshine with daytime highs near the mid 20s over the next couple of days, with temperatures near the upper 20s by the end of the work week.”

Sunscreen is definitely advised if you’re spending time outdoors, as the UV index is projected to reach six today, which is considered high.
