During a wildfire, smoke conditions can change quickly. It is important to be mindful to ensure smoke does not affect your health.
Those with pre-existing health conditions, the elderly, infants and children are more likely to experience health effects.
Symptoms such as increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches and shortness of breath may occur.
If you are at risk, stay indoors and find a cool and ventilated area.
Visit the BC Air Quality website to stay updated on all current air quality.
