  • Social media roundup: A look at the Olympics from Okanagan athletes’ perspective

The 2018 Winter Olympics are well underway from PyeongChang and Canada is showing well so far.

The Canadian medal count sits at 10, which includes three golds, and there will surely be more to come.

An Okanagan athlete has yet to get on the podium, but it’s not for a lack of impressive efforts so far from Andi Naude, Julia Ransom and Emma Lunder.

Ransom and Lunder will be back at it in the biathlon 15 km individual on Wednesday at 3:05 a.m.

On Wednesday night, Kevin Hill will compete in the men’s snowboard cross, while Tess Critchlow will compete in the women’s snowboard cross the very next night.

Although many Okanagan athletes are still waiting for their turn to compete, they’re all in PyeongChang and enjoying the Olympic experience.

And, of course, they’re sharing that experience with the fans through social media, which we’re sharing with you!
