Breaking News:

This is some breaking news!

  • Snow continues in the final day of 2019

If you’re waking up for work today, make sure you give yourself a few extra minutes to scrape off the car and take it slow on your drive.

A few centimetres of snow fell overnight and the white stuff continues to fall as we begin the final day of 2019.

“With freezing levels rising, we will see the precipitation change from snow to rain in some valley areas by this afternoon or evening,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“The precipitation will ease off tomorrow and warmer air will move in, bringing daytime highs from near freezing today up close to 5°C tomorrow.”

Remember to shovel your sidewalks and make sure you’re careful on your feet out there, it is quite slippery to begin the day.

Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve, Kelowna! Be safe out there tonight and we can’t wait to see you in 2020.
