It feels like forever since we’ve heard from Sam Smith.
The British singer has been quiet since rising to stardom in 2013 and 2014 with his debut album “In The Lonely Hour.”
The 25-year-old is finally back, however, with his sophomore album “The Thrill Of It All,” which comes out on November 3rd.
He revealed that release date on Thursday night, as well as a number of 2018 tour dates in support of the album.
The tour will start at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on June 18th and will take Smith all over North America before ending in Calgary on September 13th.
His stop in B.C. will come at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Monday, September 10th.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 12th and everyone who buys one will receive a physical copy of the new album.
Smith will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
