Prince George RCMP have arrested suspects following a targeted home invasion.
Just before midnight on July 17, RCMP received a report of a home invasion at a residence on Davis Road.
According to police, the report initially indicated that someone had been shot.
Multiple police officers responded immediately and six people, including three children, were located inside.
One adult female was injured but no one was found to be shot.
Televisions, laptops, bicycles and jewellery were stolen by masked suspects that had fled the scene before police arrived.
The investigation led police to a residence on Lisgar Crescent where two adult males and four adult females were located.
A search warrant was obtained and evidence, including a loaded firearm, was seized. Stolen property was also recovered.
Zacharie Xavier Bock, a 31-year-old from Prince George, has been charged with the following:
- Three counts of robbery with a firearm
- Break and enter with intent
- Three counts of pointing a firearm
- Disguise with intent
- Use of a firearm during commission offence
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with weapon
- Uttering threats
- Possession of a firearm without a license
- Two counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possession of property obtained by crime
Bock has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 25.
A 42-year-old female originally from Takla Landing was also arrested and released on a promise to appear for court on November 28.
RCMP believe that this was a targeted attack related to the drug trade, and some of the people involved are known to one another.
The investigation is ongoing.
