The Prince George RCMP would like to remind the public to take extra precautions while driving.

Due to poor visibility, it is very important that all drivers slow down as conditions have worsened.

Drivers are also reminded to clear all windows and lights of snow prior to driving to ensure visibility.

The RCMP and emergency response vehicles tend to respond to more incidents during extreme weather. Drivers are reminded to pull over and stop to allow emergency respondents with activated lights and sirens to pass.

All are asked to be mindful and reconsider the need to drive in poor winter conditions.
