RCMP investigating theft of propane tanks from Okanagan gas station

RCMP in the North Okanagan are investigating the theft of multiple propane tanks.

Officers are called to the Armstrong Co-op at 3550 Okanagan Street in the early hours of Monday morning.

They were told that eight propane tanks were stolen sometime overnight.

A pair of suspects were seen walking away with the tanks after cutting the lock on the propane cage.

It’s believed they fled the area in a mid-1990s style GMC pickup truck.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171.
