RCMP confirm shooting took place Friday morning

Just before 6 a.m. on Oct. 5, RCMP received multiple reports of shots fired near the 1300 block of Strathcona Avenue.

Many members attended the area to conduct patrols. While on scene, officers located a residence that appeared to have been damaged by gun shots.

Several people were inside at the time of the occurrence, however, no injuries were reported.

Police believe this incident is targeted.
