Prince George RCMP have been busy investigating a number of drug-related instances this past month.
On March 8, during a traffic stop, a 41-year-old male and a 34-year-old-male were arrested with possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled substance.
A search of the vehicle found significant amounts of heroin and methamphetamine.
Investigators obtain and executed a controlled drugs and substances act search warrant on a residence on the 1300 block of Irwin Street.
Cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia were located and seized.
Charges have not been laid and the investigation is ongoing.
This investigation follows two other drug trafficking investigations that were conducted by the Street Crew Unit last month.
On Feb. 16, members of the Street Crew Unit with assistance from the Detachment’s General Duty Section executed two controlled drugs and substances search warrants at two separate residents on the 2200 block of Spruce Street.
Methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin were all sized along with two firearms.
Three males, ages 44, 45 and 51, as well as a female age 42 were all arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
On Feb 17, another controlled drugs and substances act search warrant was issued at the 2600 block of Range Road.
Fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and drug trafficking paraphernalia were all seized.
A loaded rifle, ammunition, cell phones, cash and several other stolen items were also located and seized.
A 24-year-old male and a 44-year-old male were arrested on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
