There’s little doubt that Fredrick Greene will continue to play the lottery.

Last month, the Prince George man won a cool $500,000 playing the Extra on the Sept. 14 Lotto Max draw.

Some would call it a “once in a lifetime” win, but not Greene, because it’s the second time he’s won a six-figure jackpot

In 2014, he won $249,000 playing Lotto 6/49.

“I’m still a little shocked when I think about it, but I feel very grateful,” he said.

Greene said he was surprised when he checked his ticket since he saw there was no jackpot winners for the Lotto Max draw.

When he scanned it on his Lotto App, he was “stunned” to see he’d won on the Extra and immediately shared the news with his wife.

“She questioned if it was real and asked me to scan it again.”

Greene owns eight dogs and seeks adventure in the great outdoors, something he’ll be able to do more and in brand new destinations after this payday.

“It’s been a while since I went on a long vacation. I would like to go to Costa Rica but maybe without the dogs this time,” he joked. “By winning the lottery twice and this time on the Extra, I now have ‘Extra’ spare time to enjoy the things I love.”

Greene bought his winning ticket at the Walmart Supercentre in Prince George.
