    Prince George Crime Stoppers win provincial award

    The Prince George Crime Stoppers are the proud recipients of the 2017 Program of the Year award.

    PG Crime Stoppers were awarded this prestigious provincial title due to the amount of drugs seized and property recovered.

    In 2017, the Crime Stoppers program received 565 tips.

    Those tips resulted in 24 arrests, $103,000 in property recovered and $153,750 in seized drugs,

    The not-for-profit society is run independently from the police and all information received is anonymous in hopes of encouraging more community involvement.
