(UPDATE: April 15 @ 2:15 pm) – The time has been changed for Premier John Horgan's livestream concert, which will be hosted over Facebook live on Thursday evening.

It was originally scheduled for 5 pm, but it will now begin at 4 pm.

(Original story: April 14 @ 4:15 pm) – The year 2020 has been full of surprises, so get ready to add another one to the list.

Premier John Horgan will be hosting a livestream concert that will feature a number of talented BC musicians.

Dan Mangan, Desiree Dawson, Alex Cuba and Kym Gouchie will all perform as part of the event, which will livestreamed to Facebook on Thursday, April 16 at 5 pm.

The event will also feature Minister of Arts Lisa Beare, MLA Bob D’Eith and Creative BC CEO Prem Gill.

The biggest name on the bill, Mangan is no stranger to livestream performances during this quarantine.

After having to postpone tour dates until the fall, his band still put on a performance from Danforth Music Hall in Toronto.

He’s also been putting on weekly ‘Quarantunes’ sessions through Side Door, which have attracted hundreds of spectators through video chat.
