There was no new snow at Big White on Sunday, but that doesn’t take away from what was a fantastic week for the mountain.

Big White received multiple dumps of snow over the past seven days and it’s allowing the resort to open the Powder Chair at some point this week.
 

“Big White had an insane amount of snowfall last week, totalling 47 centimetres,” said a statement from Big White. 

“With all this new snowfall, more lifts and more of your favourite terrain will continue opening!”

To start the week, it’s currently -10°C on the hill with unlimited visibility, clear skies and calm winds.

At the moment, 11 lifts and 59 runs are open, but those numbers will grow in the very near future.
