On Sunday, Nov. 6, everyone who lives in the Pacific Time Zone will turn their clocks back an hour at 2 am.
The main question that many British Columbians are going to be asking is whether this is the final time we will put the clocks back to end daylight saving time.
A 2019 provincial survey found that 93% of people in the province were tired of the twice-a-year time changes and want to make the move to permanent daylight saving time.
BC passed legislation in 2019 to stop changing the clocks and permanently be on daylight saving time, but it was conditional on Washington, Oregon and California following suit, and those states are still waiting on the approval of the United States House of Representatives.
Do you think BC should just go ahead with ditching daylight savings time even if the US doesn't?
