The makeover for Kelowna's downtown casino is nearly complete.
Soon to be named Playtime Casino, the reinvented space features a pair of new restaurants and a brand new gaming floor.
Both Match Eatery & Public House and The Buffet are now open to the public, despite the fact that some of the renovations are still ongoing.
Once the $3.6 million transformation is complete, Playtime Casino’s rearranged gaming floor will feature the latest slots, table games and sports promotions.
“The transformation to Playtime Casino is almost complete,” said Clarissa Pruden, the casino’s GM.
“We know Playtime Casino will be the place to play in Kelowna – whether you are looking for a great meal at MATCH or a night of fun on our gaming floor.”

As a part of the rearrangement, the slot machines are front and centre when you climb the stairs to the second floor and the gaming tables have been moved back towards the restaurant area.
While Match Eatery & Public House and The Buffet opened to the public today, and part of the casino is open for gaming, the grand reopening of Playtime Casino isn’t until March 1.
