Breaking News:

This is some breaking news!

  • PHOTOS: The Northern Lights showed off in Kamloops last night

Aurora activity is currently high and as a result, the Northern Lights were visible throughout much of Canada and the northern part of the United States on Thursday night.

Unfortunately, seeing them is not always that simple, as you need a fairly clear night to witness the incredible showcase in the sky.

On Thursday night, despite a cloudy forecast, Mother Nature behaved enough to offer residents of Kamloops and the surrounding area a chance to see the incredible phenomenon.

Aurora activity is still expected to be very high for the next two nights, with Friday night being the climax, so hopefully Mother Nature behaves and we get some clear skies to see them.

For now, we've scoured social media for a few incredible shots of the Northern Lights in Kamloops and the surrounding areas for you to enjoy!
