A legion of characters from a variety of movies, television shows, comic books and manga congregated at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for The Penti-con event between June 9 and 10 – which went off as seamlessly as comic-con fits into the city's name.

From everyone's favourite plumber to the reliable appearance of beloved Star Wars and Star Trek characters, The Penti-con allowed the legions of fans to show off their cosplay and enjoy Penticton's comic convention.

You may want to hide your black-and-white spotted pups. This dog knew what to do when he saw the staple fur coat of Cruella Deville approaching. Hint: Look under the table.

Even the younglings got involved, showing off some miniature versions of everyone's favourite wizard and a couple of mean-looking Batman villains.
