  • PHOTOS: Kelowna wakes up to a winter wonderland

In 2016, the Okanagan didn’t receive its first snowfall until December 9th.

The story is certainly different this year, as 10 to 15 cms of snow fell in Kelowna overnight on Thursday, with higher elevations seeing even more.

Okanagan residents woke up to a bit of a winter wonderland on Friday morning and took to social media to share what it looked like from their home, business or commute.

Here’s what it looked like around the valley and remember to tag your snow day photos with #KelownaNow.
