  • PHOTOS: Canadians gather to Alberta stomping grounds at Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Stampede is leaving its mark in the Albertan dirt for the next eight days, with cowboys from across Canada congregating for one long and loud yeehaw from July 6 to 15.

The Calgary Stampede featured our Prime Minister at the annual event, who was seen taking photos with fans all over the grounds.

The festival may seem like one big party with people in extraordinary costumes, but don't forget about the buckin' broncos rag-dolling their riders for a hot minute.

Other popular Canadian names made their appearance, like Mark McMorris, but none rocked the true cowboy hat and shades look like this young cowboy.

Happy Stampeding to all those B.C'ers in our neighbouring province!
