  • PHOTOS: Beautiful British Columbia is burning

    It's been a difficult couple of days province-wide.

    Dozens of wildfires around B.C. have forced the evacuations of homes, and even whole towns, as firefighters scramble around the clock to contain them.

    According to BC Wildfire Service, there are currently 129 active fires of more than 0.1 hectare in size.

    A handful of the fires, like the ones in Ashcroft, Princeton and 100 Mile House, are well over 1,000 hectares at this point.

    While this is a scary, unfolding situation that has already triggered a Provincial State of Emergency, it has produced a number of breathtaking photos from cameras and smartphones all over. 

    Here are some of the best ones we found as of Sunday morning (there's a video at the bottom as well).
