BC Wildfire Service has been working incredibly hard to keep the Shuswap Road wildfire at bay and away from houses.
The fire went from an estimated size of five hectares to 500 in 24 hours.
Personnel remain on scene as they continue suppression efforts.
With the fire being so close to Kamloops, many people have been posting incredible photos and videos of the active scene.
