This is some breaking news!

  • Partial clearing and possible sunny breaks after overnight snow

The snow fell overnight in Kelowna, leaving residents with a bit of a slower commute to school or work today.

But that’s all for now, says NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English, at least for today.

“We will wake up to a few fresh flurries on the ground, however, we will also see partial clearing today with the chance of sunny breaks by mid-day,” she says.

“A slight risk of wet snow or light rain remains in the forecast for tonight.”

Daytime highs will remain within a few degrees of 0°C over the next few days, but could dip below freezing again next week.

Have a great Thursday, Kelowna, and give yourself a few extra minutes to scrape off and warm up the car this morning!
