According to Quesnel RCMP, one person has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 south near Dunkley Lumber.
At around 8:19 a.m., RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on the highway.
Two logging trucks collided head-on, killing one person.
The details at the time are limited and causal factors are not yet known.
This collision has resulted in a closure of the highway in both directions.
