  • Okanagan men aged 18 and 20 killed in Chilliwack crash

Police say the victims of a fatal crash in Chilliwack were two young men from the Okanagan.

Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle rollover crash on Chadsey Road, between South Sumas and Keith Wilson roads, just after noon on Monday.

According to the RCMP, two men aged 18 and 20, both from the Okanagan, were the only occupants of the vehicle and they both died in the crash.

Police say next of kin notifications are being done, but no further information on the victims will be released by the detachment.

Chadsey Road was fully shut down for around six hours Monday as the RCMP investigated the scene, with assistance from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstructionist Service.

The fatal crash remains under investigation and is still considered to be in its early stages.
