The Rutland Community Market has been revamped and is ready to take on summer. Whether you're in the mood for some delicious home baked goods or want to go on a hunt for some new to you treasures, this community market has you covered.
The community of Rutland has been putting on markets for the past 25 years but within the last year, this market has gotten a makeover. With a focus on bringing the community together as well as promoting it in a positive light, the market's aim is to get some of the 25,000 residents of Rutland out to enjoy the sunshine as well as support the local economy.

This market is one of the most unique recurring markets in Kelowna, there are over 40 vendors selling everything from eclectic second-hand items and rare vinyl records and even hand-built garden fixtures and of course locally grown produce. The market is held in Roxby Square off of Highway 33 and it is pet-friendly. In fact, it is encouraged for families to not only bring their little ones but their furry friends as well.

Some other new additions to the market are the growing number of food trucks, they are up to three which include soft serve ice cream, donuts, and hot dogs. You can also take in live music from local street performers while you wander around. They also have a growing amount of crafters and artisans selling items that range from hand decorated and designed candles, to home-made and organic soap and tons of handmade jewelry.
