Santa Claus delivered millions of gifts over the last 48 hours, but he didn’t give any snow to Big White.
As a result, the mountain’s alpine snow base sits at 139 centimetres, largely helped by the 45 cm of snow seen over the past week.
To start the day, it’s -11°C at Big White with unlimited visibility, clear skies and calm winds.
There are 15 lifts open today, allowing you to access 83 runs all over the mountain.
Big White is also a great place to watch the World Junior Hockey Championships, which start today.
Canada’s first test is a difficult one, as our boys will play the United States at 10 am.
The Moose Lounge will be showing the game and there’s a brunch special from 9 am until 11 am.
