  • Nearly 100 BC Ferries sailings added for the May long weekend

The long weekend is right around the corner and BC Ferries is prepared.

To accommodate extra travel to and from Vancouver Island, BC Ferries has scheduled 92 extra sailings over the course of the weekend.

Most are for the company’s most popular route between Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay, which will see 66 extra sailings this weekend.

    That includes 6 a.m. sailings on May 16, 17, 18 and 21.

In addition, there will be 15 extra sailings between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay, along with 11 extra sailings between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale.
