  • Naramata Inn to receive makeover and open under new ownership in May

The historic Naramata Inn is in good hands.

Ned Bell, Kate Colley, Paul Hollands and Maria Wiesner make up a new four-person ownership group that will give the building a makeover before reopening it to the public in May 2020.

The four hospitality experts make up the Naramata Hospitality Limited Partnership and they have a deep appreciation for the Okanagan Valley and what it represents.

“I’ve had the good fortune to work around the globe in my 30-year career as a chef and culinary ambassador,” says Bell, a lauded chef and sustainable seafood ambassador.

“I’ve experienced many of the world’s finest food and wine regions. The Okanagan is the equal to any of them.  We are so excited about the opportunity to invest and build our future here.”

Town founder JM Robinson constructed the Naramata Inn in 1907 and it’s been a staple of the area for the last 113 years.

The new ownership group wants to build on its long-lasting legacy, but also forge a new and exciting chapter for the Inn based on outstanding culinary experiences and warm Okanagan hospitality.

“The opportunity to reimagine a legacy property like the Naramata Inn is a real gift,” explains Hollands.

“We are looking forward to creating something that will have such a positive impact on the community, the Okanagan Valley and ultimately guests from all over the world.”

From produce to proteins to incredible local wines, the four new owners say the Inn will deliver a proudly “Naramatian” experience.
