There is a three car collision causing traffic headaches along Highway 97 near Sexsmith Rd.

The collision occurred in the northbound lanes, and according to calls into the newsroom, traffic is backed up all the way to Orchard Park Shopping Centre. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if at all possible. The accident occurred in the slow lane, but other lanes are being impacted at this time.
