Missing BC woman believed to be travelling east from Revelstoke

RCMP are asking the public for help locating a missing woman from Powell River.

On Oct. 28, 2024, 26-year-old Shay-Anne Malanchuk was reported missing.

Shay-Anne was last seen in Powell River on Oct. 13, 2024. Police said she was in contact with her family until Oct.16, 2024.

On Oct. 24, contact was made with Shay-Anne in Revelstoke, but she has not been heard from since.

Police say it is believed that she may be travelling east from Revelstoke.

Shay-Anne is a Caucasian female, and is described as being about 5’6 tall, slim and having brown hair and brown eyes.

If anyone has seen her or knows of her whereabouts, please contact the Powell River RCMP at 604-485-6255, quoting police file number: 2024-5659.
