UPDATE: Woman missing from the Okanagan found safe after 6 weeks

(UPDATE: Oct. 12 @ 11:15 am) – Jadine Loftus has been found.

Police say the 31-year-old, who was last seen in Vernon six weeks ago on Aug. 31, is "safe and well."

(Original story: Oct. 5 @ 2:05 pm) – Police are turning to the public in hopes of advancing a missing persons investigation.

According to the RCMP, Jadine Loftus was last seen in Vernon five weeks ago on Thursday, Aug. 31.

“Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing,” notes an RCMP statement.

Loftus is described as 5’4” with a thin build. She has blue eyes and brown hair with blonde streaks.

Anyone who has seen Loftus, or heard from her, is urged to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
