The millennials have spoken.

Out of all the places in the world, Victoria was picked as a must travel destination in 2018!

Expedia recently asked 1,000 local Canadians aged 18 to 34 where they would recommend travellers to visit in 2018.

The final list consisted of 18 places- how fitting!

So way to go Victoria, we must be doing something right if we have gained the attention of millennials!

But in all honesty, it’s no surprise our Instagram worthy city was picked.

Between our scenic views, botanical gardens, amazing food and great shopping we are a travellers dream.

Expedia included a number of must-do things while visiting Victoria. They include picking out a rad vinyl record from Ditch Records and stopping for some eats at Six Mile Pub and Eatery, which is the oldest pub in all of B.C.

And last but not least, we millennials have to get our fix of caffeine and old-school games somehow! Expedia has recommended we fill that craving by visiting the Interactivity Board Game Café.

Other notable B.C. locations on the travel list include Powell River, Golden, Port Alberni and Vancouver!

So there you have it! The 18 most recommended places to travel in 2018 as voted by the most tech savvy and trendy generation.

Let’s see if Victoria can make it on the list for 2019.
