On Tuesday night, pop punk band Marianas Trench took the Prospera Place stage with special guests Walk off the Earth and Kieran Mercer as part of their 80's themed Never Say Die tour.

Kicking off the night was pop rocker Kieran Mercer playing songs from his latest album "Help me, Help you" which dropped in late February. His sweet crooner esque voice had the crowd swooning over him while his humor and stage presence had them falling for him even harder.

While not someone you'd typically think to see touring with the energetic group, Marianas Trench's inexplicable talent is no doubt the reason why.
Up next was the insanely talented group Walk off the Earth. Starting the show off with a creative entrance of hooded figures they quickly captivated everyone in the audience with their impressive and extensive band of musicians playing everything from a ukulele to a trumpet and everything in between.

The stage presence was awe-worthy as they never seemed to stop interacting with the audience or finding creative ways to play their instruments.

Regularly switching instruments and harmonies this band was not one to miss as they even did their breathtaking rendition of "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye, the song that kick-started their popularity. They were just what the crowd needed to pump them up for what was about to happen next.

While eagerly awaiting the arrival of Marianas Trench, the crowd listened to radical tunes of the 80's with songs like the Ghostbusters theme song and Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel."

The lights went dark, one by one the band members walked on stage while the intro to Astoria began. With a large burst of light, lead singer Josh Ramsay let out the first heavenly note and the audience screams of love and excitement began!

The lighting was on par with the music with bright magnificent beams shooting across the arena and unique backdrops for each song spread from either end of the stage.

The amount of energy was impressive as each member wasted no time in running every which way to interact with as many fans as they could. The fans were going crazy for the band with their 80's inspired outfits equipped with skin tight pleather pants and open shirts. The vocals were impeccable as Josh could hit every possible note, and then some and they all sounded beautiful.

The show was not one to miss as they played songs from almost every album new and old. Fans of every Marianas Trench era enjoyed themselves as people of all ages were seen dancing and singing.
